2018 Fall in Truchas

The fall colors are exceptional this year.  The bright yellows of the high aspens are beginning to turn deeper.  The chamisa has faded in some places from a bright lemony yellow to a deeper cadmium, and some have faded out to ocher. 

 

If you are in The Santa Fe area and Truchas, come up and see it for yourself.

i stayed too long and spent nada but my visit was the highlight of our gallery tour and i wanted to say gracias, sally. and my old navy pilot guy enjoyed talking with your guy about helicopters-these moments we will remember fondly for (hopefully) all our remaining years.

We met at La Posada when you gave a talk. We share the same birthday. May 20. I really enjoyed your talk it was inspiring. Also I think your art is great. Maybe we will meet again if I return to Santa Fe. Have a wonderful day. Barbara
